solarbirdSo I'm at home and the doorbell rings, and I'm all confused by who might be here right now, and I go answer it, and there's this woman there I don't recognise. And I blink and look out the door and say, "Hello?" and she says, "Hi! Is your mom home?"
Now, I have _no_ idea what to say to that, so I just say, "um... I'm the only one here right now... who's calling?" and she says, "This isn't Mrs. <foo>'s house?"
And I say "...no..." and she laughs and apologises and stuff and says she must be on the wrong street and we try to figure out where she should be and kinda fail but she thinks it's just one street over.
I'm all like, "Hi, I'm not fourteen!" But apparently to some people, I am.
