So if I get a phone from Cingular, is there any one I really shouldn't get? I like the flip phones better than the non-flip kind. They've got this one smaller one that's $50 after rebate with a one-year plan that I kind of liked - the Samsung X427. (With a two-year plan, it's free, but fuck that.) It's the lightest phone the offer and appeared to be the smallest of the flip-style.

I have that model and have used it for a few months. I like it a lot. Much better than either of the Nokia peices of crap I have had. :)

I have the Samsung X426, which is the same exact model except branded for AT&T Wireless. (ew, I know, but it's free through work, so...)

I rather like it. Haven't had any problems with it, and it's even survived me being angry after a call and throwing it on the ground into the pavement. ;)

Sadly, the flip phones that had the features I wanted were all out of my price range when I upgraded my phone, so I went with the Sony Ericsson T226, which I've been very pleased with.
