Mail from my agent:

Ok here is the status. The listing agent just called me and said that late last night they received an offer on the home that the buyer waived all contingencies and offered more money. The listing agent did say that only Mr. Buyer initialed the contract and Mrs. Buyer is coming into town tonight to sign. They asked if we would still be interested in the property and I told them to keep us in the loop. The listing agent was not totally confident that Mrs. buyer would agree. I will keep you posted.

Apparently, we don't specifically know how much more, but it was described as "a lot" more money, too.

I was kind of expecting that, but it's still very depressing.
