This counter-offer is, bluntly, an insult. It has, in fact, convinced me that the sellers are hiding a major undisclosed issue. Contact my agent again when and if you want to negotiate seriously.Our agent is now going to call and play Good Cop(tm). They can come back to us and try again if they want, but I've been VERY SPECIFIC about the terms I want if they do. Because fuck this.
