Busy, busy

+1: Work on continues on Din; the bathroom is looking pretty good and all the trim has been re-primed. I've done as much work on the kitchen as I've been able to, given everything - in there, it's been all wall prep. I have a lot of skimming to do in there. Yuk.

+2: I've done at little at the other house, too; the northeast bedroom's lockset works for probably the first time in 30 years, and once the glue dries tomorrow, it should latch properly as well. Rah.

3: I'm kind of liking this house, which has the poor sense to be in Lake Forest Park. Decent bus service just over half a mile away, but not walkable to much except Third Place Books. Blah. I sent email to the agent saying I'd like to look at it, but he didn't respond; I think this is yet another case of someone putting out a contact point they don't actually check. I hate that. A couple of other prospects haven't really worked out.

4: We're also still kind of deciding what to do in terms of these houses, so it's not like we're really quite ready to make an offer, anyway.

-5: Totally stuck in drawing. I hate it when this happens. Nothing is coming. It's awful.

+6: Started some work on the Shego battlesuit; fixing it back up for Norwescon next year should be easy. ^_^

+7: I'm almost done with the new organisational structure for the studio. I think it really will be better. Either that, or I'm just going to end up switching through organisational systems and finding art ideas in the moving of things, I dunno.

+8: Went downtown, got my passport renewal in, and they're waving the expediting fee since the national office should never have sent me down there to start. Yay!

+9: Got my hair done, finally. I've needed a trim for weeks.

+10: Dinner with Strata and Mike, who are up visiting from California. Good Pho, good bubble tea, general fun. ^_^

-11: I haven't planned out the task set for Thanksgiving. Must. do. tomorrow. Blah! We have 16 people coming, which is a lot for a Murkworks thanksgiving recently, too. At least I've reserved the turkey - I'll need to pick it up on Sunday or Monday, along with having to make the Costco trip.

So much to do!

WOW!

That house is GORGEOUS! What's wrong with the location, other than lack of walking-distance amenities?

Nice looking house. If only it had a barn and like 9 more acres, I'd think about buying it. :-) While all those windows probably kill your heating bill, I love large windows to look out of.

Wish I could make it for thanksgiving, but it appears that I won't be able to get away.
