...but that's okay, really; it's kind of pleasant to be looking at things that are a bit more usual.

I got some very positive feedback from sensei at Aikido tonight. I also bought a used gi for $10. So now I can start to dress properly. (I'm a size 3 in gi, which is a size 6 in real life.) I still don't have the pants, but the sweatpants I have are very nice, so I'm fine with them for now. And I apparently got some quality exercise out of stuff tonight; I'm pleasantly sleepy.

And the neighbourhood has been quiet - so far. It's amazing how quickly party-riot house attitudes can dissipate when suddenly there are repercussions. The people to the south are still too loud with the music at random, but at least it's not crowds of assholes anymore.

5026's fruit-fly problem has been conquered, and 5026/A is rented out; the new tenant signed the rental agreement today! So there is much happiness over there, as well. Somewhat less so in the main house; I'm working on getting estimates for putting Nr. 2 over here back in order.

[livejournal.com profile] annathepiper and I are going out with [livejournal.com profile] spazzkat to see a play based on a series of H. P. Lovecraft short stories. It sounds like lots of fun and I'm looking forward to it - I've also got a Norwescon concom meeting tomorrow, so that pretty much finishes off that day. And on top of that will be the Thanksgiving invitations going out today and tomorrow - gah! Time to be social again, I guess! I also have some movies I want to see before they're gone - but I just haven't had time even to figure out which I want to see. So!

Mmmm. Sleepy. Enough for now.

On assorted matters..

Some years ago, I had considered buying rental property(not an option now, really),and got talked out of it. I was doing rental maintenance at the time, and that didn't help much. Never have quite decided if I made a mistake or not.
How close are your noisy neighbors? I have some maybe..75 yards away, but one dude with one of those subsonic,window-rattling sound systems lives three streets over, and it can be *felt* in my back porch when he fires it up..

Repurcussions?

I must have missed something.

Yay for repurcussion and yay for less audible percussion!
