-1: Ants at the other house. Marf! Sprayed some relatively-safe-maybe anti-ant spray, at tenant request. Blah! But it didn't smell that bad, even to me, so that's something. (I got the "no scent" kind.)

-2/+2: The fabric paint I got for my halloween costume isn't going to do, but with Kathryn's help, I found some that hopefully will. I talked to one of the people at Michael's Arts and Crafts and he knew who I was doing, so that was good. Hopefully they will at the party, too!

+3: The plastic shelving unit on the refrigerator door at 5026/A had NO! surviving attachment points but I figured out - yesterday - how to re-secure it anyway. I'm pleased. It's 2/3 done and will be fine. Yay!

-4/+4: Played in a soccer game on Sunday, but didn't mesh very well with the team, I don't think. They did invite me back, though. I was Not Good (tm) but I think I got better as the game went on. I used to be a forward; I'd like to think I could try that again, but, well, it's been four years! I think I held up pretty well (the game was a solid hour and a half of play, maybe a little more, I'm not sure) given that I've been down all summer.

-5: Had to miss aikido tonight. Sadness!

+6: But the cookies they were giving out to customers at one of the stores I went to today were really good. Mmmmmm chocolate brownie cookies. ^_^

Heh. I always look forward to your Halloween costumes. So very diverse and inventive. (Nethack STILL cracks me up!)

Well, I think I had to be told the details, but your costume was SO familiar to me (I used to play NetHack in college)...and once I knew, I thought it was perfect!

Those electronic pest control units work..you just have to remember to move them every so often. They're cheaper than sprays, even up-front. Those carry along mosquito repellers DON'T work,tho'-I think the things attract them.
My fridge is a testament to the holding power of sheet metal screws and JB Weld.
