Solarbird is CRANKY because Mitsubishi has (R)'d her name for a power generation system.

I had it first. Bastards.

They also have gotten solarbird.com. I guess I'd better get solarbird.org while I still can. Marf.

I looked at the website for that, (http://global.mitsubishielectric.com/about/environ/solarbird/index_b.html) and when John saw it, he said that your name could have been usurped by something worse. It's pretty neat, if they can pull it off, and get past all the consumer groups that will complain about the microwaves.

He also mentioned that as long as there's no possible confusion between you and the product, there shouldn't be any problems with you and Mitsubishi both using the same name. And a Yahoo! search I did came up with as many references to you as to Mitsubishi. (In English, anyway, since my browser doesn't support some of the other languages it found.)
