Like updating your default picture on your livejournal, and fixing all the b0rken email links on your pointlessly arty home page, and even linking to your livejournal and back. It's been a really long time since I updated my home page, and I probably ought to catch up on that soon. But the problems are that my sculpture doesn't photograph well - it looks great on slides but lousy captured on digital cameras, I don't get that - and I quit drawing for about a year for various personal reasons.

The new picture is a pencil drawing I did, kind of an optimised self-portrait; the first drawing I did after the year of no art! To get the old-parchment effect I shot it in low light with my digital camera instead of scanning it. I kind of like how it turned out. I might ink it at some point, but then again, I might not!

Hm. I have some other art I could scan and upload, but I think I won't right now. Maybe tonight. But I can put the Venus Envy strip I inked up there. Yay token efforts! I also finally wrote a new letter; maybe I should get busy, you know, actually sending it to people. I think I'll do that next, after I clean up from lunch. ^_^

Elf-lad peeps in and pipes up

Guh... no option other than LiveJournal user or anonymous? Just a movabletype user here, with my own journal -- elf-reflection :: living in changeling times (http://www.elfintech.com/reflection/) -- back in an active phase (we'll see how long that lasts; probably as long as any resolve I ever have to eat right, or exercise more, and sadly probably longer than even my more successful relationships). Re-reading some of your earlier letters, I realize that while I'll continue to use my own site and MT for my journal, I probably should get a LiveJournal account anyway, at the very least so that I can access some of your other content. Might you send me a user creation code?

Interestingly, Sunday was the day I also picked to update my web site, prune some broken links and fix some moved ones, and make some coding changes. Must have been something in the air. Earlier in the week I put some pictures up from my short trip to Tucson the previous weekend; oops, just realized that the pix, which are on on picturecd.com to save space on the web server, aren't linked from the web site... oh, though they are linked from an entry in my journal about the trip (http://www.elfintech.com/reflection/archives/000043.html).

Was so pleased to get your letter today; I truly love hearing what's been going on with you. Please give my best to everyone at the Murkworks.
