Today got exciting. But don't ignore the other stories, particularly where Pompeo tells fundamentalists how they're going to do something about all human rights that aren't actually human rights, complaining explicitly about "things that we all know as Christian believers aren’t part of the inherent dignity of a human being became rights," which is the rhetoric they've long used to say "queer rights aren't rights," because same-sex relationships damage the inherent dignity of human beings. No, seriously, they spent decades on that.

They'll also be going after women's health care, and not just abortion, but also any kind of family planning and birth control. Probably that more loudly, in fact.

Also note Barr basically saying "never investigate the president again." That's not an idle threat.

THIS POST HAS BEEN UPDATED.

So the latest attempt to divert blame is to blame the World Health Organisation for literally everything, and cut off funding. That's 14% of their budget, which is a fucking lot to lose during a fucking pandemic.

Also, they're getting back on the "lives should be sacrificed" for the stock markets.

This entire administration and party is made up of psychopaths. Understand that. Never forget it.

PS: I'm including a story on the "mutiny" comments earlier in the day, but yesterday's absolute-power rampage has been being walked back all day, and in today's... press briefing, if you want to call it back... it got walked back even further. So.

And this is the MAGAt 'god emperor,' the player of 'twelve dimensional chess.'

Christ, MAGAts are the absolute dumbestass motherfuckers the US has to offer, aren't they?

so
okay
little fruck out here but
STORYTIME

i wear disposable contact lenses because i don't have depth perception with glasses and also my eyes are very different to each other due to reasons

and my right eye gets very little correction but i do kinda need it for best vision? (in a shitty range of "best" but bear with me)

so i put a new lens in and it was like "this seems WAY too much, like, twice as much, what the fuck?" so I took it out and inverted it and put it in to soak for a couple of days because I figured I'd put it in inverted or something? or it shipped that way? so i wanted to give it a couple of days to figure out it got flipped back

and i just got it out again

and it did this THING where it felt like it was coming apart And It Was BecUsE THERE WERE TWO OF THEM

THERE WERE TWO IN THE SAME FUCKING PACK

AND I'D WORN BOTH AT THE SAME TIME FOR LIKE THREE DAYS WITHOUT KNOWING

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

anyway I put one of them in now and my eyes are back to normal

but wHaT ThE fuCK

i mean arguably it's kind of a bargain because hey, free lens, right?

IN THE WORST POSSIBLE WAY
