Triple-kill and then two more in a Pharah Play of the Game. They knew who the problem was, they just couldn't do anything about it.

Two double-kills in a Tracer POTG. That was satisfying.

Starting with three out the gate as Widowmaker let them know that I needed to be dealt with, and it took them until the final five metres to figure out how to do it, but unfortunately, they did.

I feel like I'm putting in a lot of work and not getting much of anywhere, though. I'm still stuck in silver, which is awful, half the time I'm literally trying to teach people how to play. Several people have told me you really can't climb much full-time solo-queueing, but I never have groups in which to play, 'cause mostly people I know who play are on PC.

Also, is anybody still reading any of this? Last time anybody reacted to anything I posted was.... 45 posts ago, back on March 12th, 11 weeks ago. I'd hoped Dreamwidth would take off a bit after last year, and moreso with the most recent Facebook hellstorm, but that obviously hasn't happened. Nobody really bailed on Facebook, and everybody just keeps on going along with whatever the fuck Zuckerberg feels like doing next. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

tomorrow i may suck, but today, i was good

This video is just bots; specifically, it's all Ana, which you use because Ana has the smallest head. I do an hour of target practice a day, if I can, and while it's slow, my shots really are improving. (I set four personal bests today, and this was part of that, so.)

If I can start shooting like this continually, I'll be a threat at a higher level. I'm hoping I can get there. (gfycat version)

I also practice aerial shots in that hour, which is to say, shots taken after launching myself into the air. This highlight is from an actual game - a custom game, deathmatch FFA, Widowmaker-only, headshots only.

I landed several of these today, and took the lead here. I ended up finishing third, and high-place finishes were a thing today. It was... really nice. (gfycat version)

I even ran into sensei in a couple of those games, and was getting headshots against them. And I got DMed asking if I'd upped the sensitivity of my scope, because it was pretty fucking clear that I had. And, of course, I had. A lot.

I feel really good that it was noticed.
