good morning, it's 9 march 2017
Mar. 9th, 2017 12:52 amFreakishly short today. An opinion piece in Canada against the US demands to be able to Do Unreasonable Shit to Canadians in Canada. Trump's corruption ring nets him 38 new trademarks in China - very valuable. NOAA is also getting the axe - it's landing particularly hard on anything involving climate change, of course, but also tsunami warning systems, lots more. ProPublica has a list of some of the people Trump has installed in the Federal government - ones that don't require Congressional approval and therefore have little oversight. And Clarence Thomas hasn't managed to be right twice a day, but in a nearly bizarre turn of events, he may be right on something. Something the court is sadly not taking up, but still.
