The National Weather Service Seattle is looking for a name for last week's windstorm. You can email submissions to namethewindstorm at noaa.gov if you want. I mailed them this:

On my livejournal, I called it "Blow Me 2006," but since there's no way that'll fly, how about "Eastside Shutdown 2k6"? Or "The 2006 Mercer Island Crackdown"? Or maybe "KNEEL before TREES!"
