With
annathepiper's invaluable help, I have now planted the two plants I got at Molbak's and which were in my backpack being taken home on the day of the accident. They sat in the backpack - sealed! - for two weeks before anybody thought to see what was in my backpack, so I was amazed they were still alive. One looks like it's in good shape, the other - well, not so much. It's the one that needs full sun and it got no light for two weeks. But I can hope.
I am now very tired. But those little bastards are now planted. Take that, fate! Hopefully at least one of them will make it.
I also weeded out a tiny amount of rogue blackberries, horsetail, and bindweed. But that wasn't hard.
