Yay!
Picked up a copy of Twilight in the Desert at the library last night and read it. I have significantly greater respect for the technical prowess of Saudi Aramco now. I'm going to read it again before returning it to the library and will have more commentary after that. But my first impression of the book is that it's very rational and, at least on the surface, the research looks very good. It also collaborates some data I've been picking up from other independent sources. More analysis on that after I read it again.
I've finally figured out what Inuyasha is doing in this sketch I started, too. Now I can finish it, yay. ^_^ In the meantime, have a flower I saw down near the bus stop on 25th NE:

Excitable Tigger, Now in Convenient Flower Form

spazzkat's camera around lately. That's dum. I need to put it back into my backpack. I've missed at least two good opportunities for flower pictures in the last week because of that. Bad me!
