I write a lot about the need for all of us to do the job the media won’t do, in talking about what Trump and the Republican Party MAGA movement want to do and will do.

Today’s assignment is simple. Trump will support a comprehensive abortion ban. Despite the attempt by the media over the last several days to turn this into some kind of will-he-or-won’t-he question, Trump will absolutely support a comprehensive abortion ban.

The latest simple example is his attempt to dodge the question a few days ago, which the media turned into some sort of position change on his part. It was not a position change, it will not become a position change. This was completely bullshit, made up by corporate media.

Today, Trump has again been forced by his MAGA base to stop avoiding the question outright, and has stated in very clear terms that he will vote to keep Florida’s ban. This was never in doubt.

In office, he will act as if a ban were already in place and use the justice system and the 19th century Comstock Act to wipe out reproductive health services of all types in every state.

Get it through peoples’ heads, because the media simply fucking will not do it.

The truth is obvious and undeniable. Your job – our job – is to get it out there.
