I hope people get that Nikki Haley went over to Israel to make everything as much worse as possible. Those pics of her scribbling those obscenities on bombs will circulate for years, to stir violence, to raise hatred, an absolute endorsement of every propaganda line – particularly Russia’s – for raising hate against Americans.

This was intentional.

You get that, right? She’s not stupid, she’s a former UN ambassador. Like Nixon sabotaging peace talks in Vietnam and Reagan’s people working to keep US hostages in Iran, she knows exactly what she did, and she did it on purpose.

Biden’s been pushing Netanyahu towards a two-state solution for months and despite the “Genocide Joe” crowd’s crap, he’s pushed back more on Israeli militarism more than any US president I’ve ever seen just by doing it at all. At the same time as it’s not enough, it’s more than ever before, and that means something.

And now, we get this Republican sabotage.

This was intentional, AGAIN.

I’m begging you, people – DON’T fall for it again. Don’t repeat the same mistakes AGAIN. DON’T REWARD IT AGAIN.

Look, I get it, you want the US out of the middle east. Great. So do I.

There is one big reason the US is so heavily invested, and it’s called OIL. There used to be two, and the other one was called the Soviet Union, but even then, a lot of that was also about oil.

Until oil is no longer the most important thing in the world, it doesn’t matter what our “allies” do, because it’s about power to have access to oil, and that power knows no conscience. “Energy independence” based on extraction doesn’t do the job, the US is already self-sufficient. That’s because oil is fungible and everybody still needs it, including our many allies, particularly in Europe.

If you want things to change, you’ve got to go about it by making oil not matter.

Happily, that’s also going at climate change. And that, too, is not a coincidence, because the oil companies will do anything to stop that.

Biden and the Democrats managed the biggest climate bill in history, in the form of the Build Back Better infrastructure bill. But for the Republicans (and one coal-owned Democrat from West Virginia, but mostly, the Republicans) it would’ve been much, much bigger. The attempt to get more was extremely real, and he’s followed it up with about as much as can be managed out of executive orders.

And frankly, in real terms, there really is no bigger issue than this. There really isn’t.

Meanwhile, what’s Trump and the GOP promised on climate? To end renewables and go full-bore all-in on oil, all for the eternal wealth of their fascist-backing oil friends, the biggest single source of far-right money in the US.

Oil. Climate change. Fascist Republicans committing sabotage for power to end carbon-neutral renewables, triple-down on oil, and put structures to keep people in their places no matter how bad things get.

All these pieces are right there, out in public, right where you can see them. A, B, C. It’s all there. Figure it out. Put them together. Explain it to others.

And for the love of the gods, I’m begging you – don’t fall for the same treasonous bullshit again.
