solarbirdI have never seen or wanted anything more “mirror universe Star Trek” than this 3D-printed shirt in my entire life.
Yes, it’s a shirt. Yes, it’s still amazing, and no, not because it’s 3D printed, though that doesn’t hurt anything.
It’s the self-closing front seam that does it.
Pull open the seam in the front, let go, it closes itself, invisibly. That’s just… “what. what. did I just? see?!” territory.
(Yes, it involves magnets, and it’s probably not as perfect in person as it is in video. But still.)
You’ll have to scroll down to see the videos, but they’re there. Short, but there. If you read the comments you’ll find links to the improved version and there’s a video on that one which shows him doing the seam trick while wearing that version.
It’s not actually practical though it is wearable. But holy fuck is it cool.
