This is neat, a startup using batteries from electric automobiles which have lost too much capacity for the road, but still have substantial charge value, as power-grid reserve power banks. At scale, even, already.

Date: 2023-12-24 06:41 pm (UTC)I know it is for lead acid, but for lithium? I'm not so sure they have the volumes for that level of recycling, not quite yet. Heck, they don't even have a core charge yet, which is the main thing that got lead up to a 90%+ recycle rate.
(I've got one of those lithium beasts, so yeah, I'm concerned.)
