Date: 2023-07-22 02:42 pm (UTC)They spent so much money on making the rest of the movie they had to farm the special effects out to a Mexican (IIRC) studio. Which used a bird puppet and model trains and accessories for those shots. The star didn't see any of them until he attended a premier showing in his hometown. He was extremely embarrassed.
