I''m not to thrilled at the lack of windows you can look out of. Also, the leany-in walls make me feel calustrophobic and the big green barn with the surgically-clean interior isn't exactly welcoming either.
From what I could see, all of the windows in the leany building are frosted. Yeah, the Big Green Barn has clear windows, but Montana is on the outside and they're not really made for looking at views; much too small for that...
I guess that the good thing is they won't let much of the nuclear flash in when the inevitable enemy attack comes.
In the former case, sure; in the latter case, I'm genuinely convinced that's just glare. (This is also true other places.)
That second photo in particular is what it looks like when you take a photo with the widest dynamic range you can and still get mostly-whited-out windows from over-exposure, then use iPhotos reduce "highlights" as far as you can get bring what's left back to visibility.
(Another reason I think this is that the reflections on the floor, while fuzzy, show me an image of the outdoors. You wouldn't have that if they were actually etched or otherwise made only translucent.)
I wasn't clear (heh) in my reply. The green barn's windows are clear, but they're far too small to be picture windows to let you see the scenery outside. However, that makes them good supervillain lair material, because windows that are hard to see out of are also hard to see into.
Now I'm wondering whether the designer read the Evil Overlord List and made it difficult to sneak into.
