1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?

Phoenix, of the X-Men. I'm not sure why; maybe it just had something to do with pure self-determination, something I didn't have a chance to have then. But, oddly, my hero was Emma Peel. ^_^

2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?

Do wings count?

3. What's the furthest from home you've been?

Edinburgh, Scotland! It was great. ^_^ I'll be going to Japan in 2007, though - I hope - so that'll probably be further. ^_^

4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?

One thing? I have to pick one thing? What good is that? um. Does it count if I'm still struggling to learn basic Japanese? ^_^ Also, more about a bunch of things - real, physical airbrushing might be one. More about tube circuitry might be another. And my high school didn't have HomeEc and I didn't have a family, so I'm still kind of making my way around things like meal planning and cooking. But if I had to pick just one, it wouldn't be that one. ^_^

5. What are your plans for the weekend?

Friday night: Laming about and some home-office paperwork. Saturday: ArtJam! with six other artists. It was fun. Sunday: Music, except a lot of the band didn't blinkin' show, and so [livejournal.com profile] annathepiper and I just ended up doing some things on our own.

HomeEc question

I never took a HomeEc class either, but having to help Aunt Eileen cook Sunday dinners did help in planning how much to fix. In this case, actual experience is better than the theory that is suppose to go behind it.
