No, wait, the library is a 45-minute walk away. Still, it's close to a 15-minute town, and no one in this deep red county seems to have a problem with it.

Date: 2023-06-19 05:06 pm (UTC)When my parents bought their house when I was an infant, it was literally what they looked for: Walking distance to a stores including a supermarket, a pharmacy, a kosher butcher, a synagogue, an elementary school.
The kosher butcher is no longer there because the neighborhood has changed in the last 60 years, but all the rest are.
