Trying to figure out whether Musk deciding to end user blocking in discussion with fascists on Musk Twitter is worth a standalone update. And whether this counts as that already.

Ending blocking (but leaving muting) would mean that not only will you be unable to block harassment of yourself – even if you’re still able to mute it – fash and other systematic hate campaigns will be able to use your twitter to harass everyone who follows you by flooding every post you make with fash shit, gore, pr0n, whatever. No one would be able to look at replies to your tweets since it would all be unblockable bluecheck abuse.
