DeSantis and Trump are trying to out-fascist each other, and either or both of them will happily make us all illegal again if they can.

Today’s adventure is revoking the Orlando Philharmonic’s liquor license and filing a felony obscenity complaint against them in court for hosting A Drag Queen Christmas.

DeSantis scares me more than Trump did/does, honestly. But maybe I'm biased from living in DeSantis's Florida -_-

You're not wrong. As bad as Trump was/is, he and his Administration attempted many things that were so insane, so outside the normal processes of government like how to do a proper Federal rulemaking that even staunch conservative Republicans (and in some cases even his own judges) didn't go for them. A President DeSantis, Pence, or Abbott would potentially be far more dangerous as they know enough about governing to figure out exactly what they can get away with legislatively or via regulation. Which could be quite a bit.
