The only reason my state NC isn't in deeper red already - and it shows "few years" is because currently our Democrat governor is the only thing standing between losing our Reproductive Rights and going into a terror state toward our LGBT communities. How we've managed to get him re-elected was a miracle.

You're not as deep a red state as the GOP want you to think, they've just gerrymandered you to within an inch of authoritarianism. (As opposed to Wisconsin, where they really can't be removed from power.)

I'm actively cringing whenever Dems speak in public any more. WTF is wrong with people who don't see that our actual -lives- are at risk here?

There is no getting the 'other side to see reason'.
The other side is the Terminator. They will never stop.
Why the heck aren't sane politicians fighting with every tactic they can? Where does this weird feeling of needing to play fair come from when the other side lies, cheats, murders, steals, slanders & blames?
