Yeah, there're a lot of bag clips on thingiverse, but none I saw were built with the idea that you had the spring and grippy plastic bars from an old Chip Clip and those other parts are all still fine, so I designed a clip that'd let you keep using those other parts.

It'll also work with an elastic band and without the grippy plastic bars. I tried it on a 50% test model and it worked... enough. The elastic band instead of a spring worked fine, but the grippy parts not being there hurt it.
Anyway, if you, too, have some old broken Chip Clips, here's your new model.
I know that at the end of the day it's just a bag clip, but hey, I designed and made one, and more importantly, learned some things about 3D design. So it was a good day. ^_^

Oh, if you want an area rife for spare parts, consider the picnic tents. It seems you have two chances for failure: the nylon tent part, and the plastic universal joins at the top of the upright poles.
What people would pay to avoid scrapping the entire tent, when all they need is that plastic joining part.

Only question coming to mind really is how much tensile strength is required.
