One of the things about this - other than how much they desperately want to feel persecuted - is that they spent decades (decades!) _explicitly defending bullying_.
Explicitly. Of queer kids, obviously.
It was a "normal and natural reaction to the perversion of homosexuality."

And yeah, that last quoted phrase is a quote. From memory, of course. But it was repeated over and over again.
The _explicit intent_ was that physically beating down queer children would either turn them straight or turn them silent.
And either would do.

This eventually mutated into 'conversion therapy,' the same abuse on a different axis.
And so when they make this shit up, what they're echoing is _their own positions_.
Their own _desires_, redirected as fears to themselves.

Their _fears_ of something directed at _them_ are also their _desires_ to direct upon the _other_.
They fear being treated the way they want to treat you.
Once in power, they'll flip that back around in a heartbeat. Just two days ago, some of them were telling you so outright.

Whenever you see them making up lunacy to be angry about, when you see them shrieking about brutal nonsense _they've made up whole cloth_, remember:
The ones that are possible are generally the ones they want to impose on _you_.
