Just to get it said: I don't expect Pelosi to expel them all. I don't think she'll even move to expel one, though frankly, she really should. That rep who kept livetweeting her location to the MAGA mob, for example.

I'm just moving the goalposts to make it clear that impeachment, removal, and ban is the bare minimum option.

So in exchange for _failing to seize power in a coup_, you're saying that we should _ignore the crimes of the person who tried to seize power in a coup_ for the sake of "mov[ing] forward..." so everyone involved in the _coup attempt_ can go unpunished.

They know they don't have popular support. They _know_ they can't win a majority of the people. They _know this_. They _admit_ this, outright. That letter circulating with @HouseGOP a few days ago said it all out in the open, to wit:

'We can't win the popular vote. The only way we have to power is the electoral college. Stop trying to discredit the electoral college vote, or we'll lose that, and never hold power again.'

If all you're interested in is power - and minority rule - then that's _really good advice_. "Don't draw attention to this, you idiots. We'll lose it."

Being able to "win" a presidential race via a slaveholder's power grab from over 200 years ago while losing by over 3 million votes wasn't good enough for them.

They went for everything.

They launched a coup.

And they lost.
