solarbirdIt's kind of an amazing statement. Lamar Alexander says straight up that Trump did exactly what the Democrats said he did, and that everyone knows it - and that it's not grounds for removal from office so there's no point in witnesses and documents.
Extorting foreign allies at war by illegally withholding aid until they announce investigations into your political opponents is not grounds for removal from office.
Neither is obstruction of justice.
No words for that. Other than, "Lamar Alexander goes out a traitor to oath and to country," but that's nothing new.
Just remember - there is no law now. None. At all. And everything - everything - will get much, much worse.
Will there be an election? Almost certainly. But it'll be the worst, most brutal election in American history, an unending shitstorm of fraudulent investigations, mass bot harassment, voter suppression (including mass deregistration), unending foreign interference, and lies.
So many lies. They're going to spin an "alternative facts" cocoon around everything they can, hoping - with good reason - that people will forget what actually happened here and buy into the fake reality they've built around their own.
Don't let it happen. Keep others from falling in to it. Document, save, remember what really happened.
