You know what's weird is that every time I see "Spirited Away" written somewhere, my mind thinks "Left Behind", that ghastly fundie fiction series. Ew.
"Spirited Away" and "Left Behind" -- That is an interesting word association. Maybe it would make it easier for me to remember the name of that movie.
The Left Behind sound and drama series (dramatic audio designed for broadcast on the radio) is my favorite. The books themselves, beyond the first, are not written as well although the story is still gripping to me. But I go back over and over, listening to the dramatic audio. If you're interested, the first two and a half books are available on the web at oneplace.com (http://www.oneplace.com/special/left_behind/)
"Spirited Away" is now in that very small group of movies I've seen more than once in the theater. ("Matrix" is the only other one I can think of at the moment) It feels very much like a Japanese folktale to me.
