I find it disturbing that Conor looked at this picture, said "birdie! mmmmmmm munchies" and then licked his lips.

..."birdie" can take care of herself. Conures have the sharpest beaks of all the parrots and she's more than happy to demonstrate.

We're working on that. There's been noticable improvement already! I had a towel over my hand in that picture, but the rest of that out-of-cage excursion, she was directly on my hands, and was very well behaved. For her. ^_^

Very pretty! In the earlier picture, she looked like she was molting. (I think you said as much, too.) Looks like she's gotten past that scruffy-looking phase. Sounds like you're doing very well with her!
