I've got a history of people saying variations on, "I didn't want to start this story because it looked too scary/dark, but omg I'm glad I finally did and wish I had a long time ago" and that's... kind of frustrating?

So in response, I've put together a meta collection of summaries for my various stories, including collaborative works with bzarcher. For the longer (and scarier-looking/darker) pieces, the entries start about progressions of tone and theme, and then beccome more spoilery as they go, so people can stop at whatever comfort level they feel is best, and hopefully have an easier time deciding whether to read or not.

I'd've done this a while ago, but there's no built-in functionality in AO3 to do that which does not also put spoilers in the way of people who aren't worried. And so eventually I decided this - and appropriately-placed links in story summaries - would do the job well enough.

This link goes to the table of contents, which is spoiler-free. Once you go to the individual description pages, though - spoilers, ahoy!

I have the opposite problem. I start stories and can't come up with an ending.
