that's because it comes from the GREEK! Katharos! Which means PURIFICATION or CATHARSIS! I just found this out today.

I suspect you might like this. It is filled with all sorts of wicked humor and strange twistedness of thought and deed. Kind of a domesticated Fight Club really, in all of it's quirkiness and looking like it's something that it really isn't, with that same experience for me of expecting to hate it and finding out that I loved it.
