Woot! Yay tiny movie theatre!
Aug. 24th, 2002 11:01 pmThe Grand Illusion showed Master of the Flying Guillotine tonight. Yay! I love the Grand Illusion. Only the best chop socky for us! ^_^ They even had a new print with new, good subtitles.
The Grand Illusion is a tiny theatre near my house that seats maybe 60 and has a screen only somewhat taller than a large projection-screen TV. Much wider, of course. Anyway, it's five minutes away by foot, and has a pressed-tin ceiling painted a dark warm brown, so it looks like it's made of chocolate. It's one of my favourite places in Seattle and I should go more often. ^_^
