Art for the new single coming out on Monday. It’s kind of driving me crazy holding onto this one because there’s so much insanity over this right now, and when I saw that video of that cop slamming that butch lesbian against a wall and then out of a washroom for not performing femininity correctly – so angry – the song that popped into my head virtually wrote itself.

This is still “test” art – I’m not sure it’s there yet. It’s in the neighbourhood tho’. It just seems too… I dunno, bright? But I like it. So I’m torn.

Ah well, I’ll figure it out before Monday.

Maybe an all over unifying sepia or greyish so as to have the "aged newspaper clipping" look...?

I played with that? But I don't want it to look old - it's all right now, after all.

I've ETAed a new version, I think it's better? Hopefully not too busy. idk. these things are kind of supposed to be busy, traditionally.

Allover halftone? That was the other thing I was going to suggest.

The halftoning is unchanged. I did use that effect, but that's been in every version.

I did clean up the background on one headline design tho'.

I think I have a final version I like here.
