You know how I made a hammer dulcimer sound like an orchestral double-bass with studio tricks, for Bone Walker? Well, that’s easier now, because this guy makes bows for the things.

It’s kind of awesome actually. :D

Saw a lady play a gender (gamelan instrument) with a bow the other night.

...I am not even sure how that would work. Like, did she bow the edges of the metal plates or something? I am confused.

The metal plates are held together with taut strings and I think that's what she was bowing.
