solarbirdHey, folks, just FYI: this gas price thing? It's temporary. Yes, the Saudis are trying to put the squeeze on the tar sands, but also - and moreso, now - they're also trying to starve out ISIL et al, who are funding themselves in no small part through oil revenue.
Now, admittedly, this won't evaporate overnight (unless Saudi Arabia collapses, in which case hold on to your hats), but just realise this is what's going on here. ISIL just knocked off a major Saudi general at a Saudi military base and the stakes are pretty fuckin' high right now.
