So we did the last big concrete pour at Joby's today. The driveway used a lot more of the truck's load than we expected so we had to hand-mix a lot more than we expected so it was basically nine hours of hard labour.

But the programme books and name tags got a lot of laughs and the bath I took afterwards felt like a 45-minute-long orgasm. That part was great.

Some of Joby's in-laws were doing the math and figured out that over the last year, we've each moved at least 40 cubic yards of concrete each, which works out to 80 tonnes per person. Which is probably the butchest thing that's ever been said about me.
