Back from Norwescon
Apr. 1st, 2002 01:28 pmIt was apparently a very good convention for most people; I couldn't really tell, I was too sick. And was working it anyway (I'm kind of on the committee so can't really bail at the last minute) AND one of the allegedly "30 pound test" hanger-wires for my art broke as I was carring a piece of sculpture back out to the car, and it smashed on the floor in a bazillion pieces. (And, for bonus points, cut my hand in five places.)
Blah.
On the other hand, apparently people were really impressed with the daily newsletter (my job) and the fanzine lending library (also my job) so cold medication seems to be good for some things other than "making me not feel quite as nasty." So pleasantly, nobody could tell how sick I was. I guess.
but i'm really, really upset about the art.
AND the *#(@$&! squirrel that's apparently gotten into the wall is also really annoying.
