Art stuff

I finally got all the display cases for my sculpture done today. There were only two left to do, but it's amazing how long I can manage to make this process take. Really, they're very simple; a wooden backplane, 5/8ths to 3/4 of an inch thick, cut down to size and painted white, to which the art is attached via mirror hangers; a plexiglass (or acrylic, actually, but any clear plastic will do) sheet of the same size; and an appropriate number of bolts (minimum of four) attached and held in front of the art.

I really like how Building in Europe looks in its case. I really do.

Of course, Norwescon is probably not the best place to show this stuff for the first time, but it gave me a deadline to work towards, which I seem to need. So it's ready! And I'm ready!

Except for all the other stuff I still have to do. Foo. I always forget those parts.
