solarbirdI'm doing the daily 'zine again for Norwescon (coming up in a week and a half) and I've been totally flailing between a few different ideas and settling for ones that aren't so great. The theme is "In the Land of the Emerald City" - a whole Oz thing.
Then I suddenly realised I'm an idiot.
There are four issues of the 'zine. In the Wizard of Oz book, which I've read, The Great and Terrible Oz appears to the four travellers on four different days in four different aspects, speaking in four different voices. These are the four issues of the 'zine, and the name on the bannerhead is The Great and Terrible Voice of OZ.
"If it'd been a snake it'd have bit me."
Fortunately, I think I'm largely on schedule, even if I do have to go buy a lot of plexiglass tomorrow. (I'm building display cases for the sculpture I'll be showing at the con.)
