An Arc of Flowers

Playing lots of catch-up today with office things, so have a picture of some flowers that I took a couple of days ago. I don’t even know what these are called, but they’re pretty common garden trees here. ^_^

Blossoms about the size of a teacup? Magnolias, I think.

Dogwoods, it turns out! (The flowers aren't as big as you might think from this picture.) There are also magnolia trees in a couple of local gardens; I know what those are because Paul has pointed them out, and he's from Virginia so knows. He also planted a hardy one in our side yard, so in a couple of years, it might bloom.

Pink Dogwood even! I've never encountered a pink Dogwood so today makes one of those wonderful 'learn something new' days!
