Apparently The Wall Street Journal scrapes my Livejournal! Presumably for the economics posts. That’s funny! Since that really is the newspaper of record for a certain class of supervillain, I’m totes onboard with that. I’ve even seen a few hits from that page! Hi, guys! You know, during the eight years of Bush your LJ was filled with all sorts of outrage against him. Three years into Obama not a peep. Why is that?
Especially when Obama has:
Assassinated an American Citizen without a trial.
Sold guns to Mexican Drug Cartels, guns used to murder 100's of Mexicans and quite a few Americans, all in a blatant plot to attack the 2nd amendment.
Got us involved in another war (Libya).
Not closed guantanamo.
Not stopped 'spying on citizens'.
Driven the economy into the dirt.
... and a list of many others.

This is all one of the points I tried to make many years ago, that you only complained about Bush because it was politically expedient. You really didn't care about any of the things you said, because as soon as a leftist was elected all your complaints stopped, even though Obama abuses the law and the constitution more-so than Bush ever did.

And how many of your LJ friends are complaining now? Or is it all crickets over there as well? This is why I stopped following your LJ and trying to debate your friends, because it was never about any of the so called 'abuses', it was all really just about winning at any cost and the ends justifying the means. It was all nothing more than hypocrisy and lies.

You stopped watching for a while, and you haven't been reading me on Facebook.

I've lost a lot of friends over my campaigns against Mr. Obama. I've stepped out of US politics almost entirely out of disgust. I do not participate in Federal elections anymore on any level. I was just now raising the assassination issue - again - over on Facebook. As per normal, I am being almost entirely ignored.

The Bush-Obama torture-and-police-state has now been normalised, which revolts me to my core.

And yes, I have raised all these complaints many fucking times against Mr. Obama, and I have gotten exactly nowhere.

Just like I got with Mr. Bush.

I was not so foolish as you think to not anticipate the possibility that most of the Americans rah-rahing over Mr. Bush's abuses would find them perfectly acceptable once Mr. Obama carried them. I did not vote for Mr. Obama in 2008 after he demonstrated that he meant none of it, and would betray it as soon as elected. (This via the FISA/retroactive immunity vote in early autumn 2008. I raised that issue then.)

I was not heeded. Mr. Obama proceeded to do exactly what I said. Most of the people fell right into line, and it was, in fact, far worse than I expected.

This will continue until it can't, and I have wasted three decades trying to stop it. I'm laying low and making my own plans, which I have no intention of sharing at this time; other than occasionally poking people with sharp sticks about their hypocrisy and the insanity they - and you! - have endorsed, I am done.
