Back in the 2005, there was a Supreme Court decision I protested called Kelo v. New London. It basically said property could be seized under eminent domain for far broader reasons than historically considered reasonable, even if it were going to be handed over to a private concern. A lot of us raised a lot of hell over it for the obvious abuses; the development planned in the case never even went forward, so all we got was a lousy Supreme Court decision.

But hey, check this shit out. Something good may come of it after all. Live by property seizure, die by property seizure...

edit: lj:agrumer pointed out quite correctly that my date was wrong in an earlier version of this post; I was confusing Supreme Court property cases. The date has been corrected. Once you reach a critical mass of RAEGdecisions, they start to blend together. ;_;
