It has been suggested on the Livejournal echo that “Apocalypse Jaguar” is a good band name. My immediate thought was that Seven and the Ragged Tiger was Duran Duran’s Apocalypse Jaguar cover band.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

1. Comment here with one more more albums from Apocalypse Jaguar’s discography. Should you feel like image-searching for album art, that would be epic.

2. Alternatively, comment here with your entry for:

“Apocalypse Jaguar is my _______________ cover band.”

If there are enough good answers, I’ll turn this into a poll, and the winner of the poll gets a free autographed Dick Tracy Must Die CD, suitable for playing, framing, evangelising the band (ahem) or distracting guards during your jailbreak.

Ready… steady… GO!

Apocalypse Jaguar is my _bad 80s metal_ cover band.

Because: Def Leppard, White Lion, Tygers of Pan Tang, John Cougar Mellencamp (not metal but 80s and bad).

This is what surfing the internet while listening to the Book of Mormon soundtrack has wrought.

Behold, the hastily thrown-together cover art for their first album; American Warlord, Brigham Young: http://i56.tinypic.com/o8sz94.jpg

It is naturally the first part of a trilogy of concepts albums recounting how Brigham Young teamed up with Aleister Crowley and his pet Raptor (who is a raptor) to fight pancake aliens on the planet Zog.

That can be done in post production. Perhaps one of those animated holograms where it's only bleeding when you tilt the picture in a certain way...

And the less-hastily-than-the-second-one-but-more-hastily-than-the-first-one thrown-together final installment of the trilogy; Raptor The Raptor, Dinosaur Warlord.

There's that paint that reacts to heat/cold by going transparent. I think that it was used to make SFW pictures on beer glasses until the beer went in. Maybe something like that which would change the picture as long as you're holding it?
