Normally here I’d have a cool new post for you to wake up to on Monday morning! But I don’t, because a mild windstorm blew our IP upstream off the net for many hours. So you get hopefully amusing bullet points.

1: The Image of the Poll from last week are still the marine apocalypse jaguars. I never thought a combination of Battlestar Galactica and Aztec legend would be your preferred engine of the apocalypse, but who am I to argue? However, if you start to go all ancient astronaut on me, Londo Mollari is going to have to line you up and kick all your asses. Just sayin’.

2: Black Mesa is recruiting. If, you know, you’re the sort to like shipping products without testing them. C.f.:

No momentum goo. No industrial properties. Why bother?

3: I’m learning a new pick technique. It’s difficult and wants my wrist to move in ways that are apparently common for you lot but are freaky and weird to me. But I will say this: it’s damned fast. I like that.

I kind of want to make nwcMUSIC 2012's theme "REIGN OF JAGUARS." But I have no idea what that'd mean. I'd probably just use it for graphics and lulz, but really, there's nothing wrong with that. XD

I was actually thinking more one of those bands that occasionally tried to drift over into Thrash from Hair Metal. Anthem is the one that really comes to mind, but hardly anyone over here knows them. Warrant and Whitesnake wandered into that territory a little. Or maybe something like Pantera right at the point when they were switching over from Glam.

If I had any PhotoShop Skillz at all, I would totally be working on a shoop of the Reign in Blood album cover right now.

Seriously, my ability to edit images is limited to cropping and resizing. I can't even make Cat Macros without using the builder thing on I Can Haz Cheezeburger.

I just spent like 20 minutes screwing around with the two image editing programs I have, and wasn't even able to do something like a graffiti-ed up version with the paintbrush tool.
