solarbird | Network fail en masse

Verizon has hardware problems on our network pipe and has managed to avoid fixing it since Tuesday, and now it's the weekend and it's deteriourated very badly - we're effectively offline now. (7% packet throughput with periods of zero connectivity lasting 3-15 minutes is effectively down.) So assume I won't see email until at least Monday.
