I'm sick, tired, bored, and achy, and sitting at home. And bored. Did I mention the bored part? I'm bored. I might have econ later but my head hurts and right now I'm too tired. Entertain me?

Entertain?

F'landsake, woman! Sleep! There's never enough chances to get in a good afternoon nap. Fantasies are optional, of course. ^_^

Here, have a slug.

Hope your cold goes away soon!

Leisure Town (http://www.leisuretown.com/), the only webcomic that matters. Hasn't been updated in years, but that's only because it's complete and perfect as it is.

Once upon a time, there was a cute little flappy bird who lived on the outskirts of a survivalist milita training ground in Arizona.

It flapped around.

Then, it saw a bunch of big sharp winged sharp beaked metallic looking birds zooming around in the sky.

The little flappy bird went home to its nest and hid.

An hour later, a nice little girl went out for a walk. She saw the scary metallic birds too, and ran back home.

Another hour later, she went back with her older brother, who was laughing at her for being scared. He saw the scary birds, and they started to zoom closer and lower, and he curled up in a little ball until his little sister grabbed him by the ear and pulled him until he ran back home with her.

The next day, the local militia leaders went out to see what was up. They drove in jeeps and trucks and carreid lots of guns and more expensive, explosive weaponry. They went further and further, and never saw any scary metal birds. Finally, on their way home, the metal birds showed up.

People back in the outpost waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, two adventurous teen-agers went out to see what happened.

People in the outpost waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, many more went out with guns and weaponry, including the teenagers' parents.

They found the teenagers.

The teenagers were not at all happy. In fact, they were very angry.

So were the teenagers parents.

Late that evening, laughing into their drinks about the teenagers and their parents and the ensuing entertainment, everyone remembered that the outpost leaders were still gone.

The next day, the little flappy bird moved to California. Everyone else kept waiting. Or doing whatever else they were doing.

Two weeks later, an obelisk appeared in the desert.

No one knew why.
