Voter turnout as of last night in King County is at 20%. Fundamentalist turnout is always high when they have a chance to hurt queers at the ballot box, and this time will be no exception; I'm sure preachers across the state were doing their usual Election Day Reminder sermons yesterday, frothing up the flocks. So if you haven't voted, to do it right now. Yes on 71, please.

Yiesh. Is 20% normal for off-year?

24% as of tonight. The last two days (received tomorrow and sent tomorrow, mostly received Wednesday) will be the biggest days, as I understand it. But they were expecting 56%. Maybe they'll still get it - I sure hope so! - but right now, this is very bad.
